Caring and Supportive Services
Providing quality, long-term assisted living care as well as short-term respite care since 1988, Northview Manor combines the efforts of a caring support staff and modern facilities to meet the physical and emotional needs of our residents.
Our staff, including trained resident aides, is committed to the principal that each resident has value and seeks to treat them with dignity and respect. Being attentive to both physical and mental well-being, we strive to affirm and encourage the development of the special gifts of not only each resident, but fellow staff as well. Providing 24-hour personal care, our staff to resident ratio ranges from 1 to 8 during the day to 1 to 10 during night-time hours.
Our services are customized to the specific needs of each resident and caring, supportive assistance is always our first priority. We use Saint Mary's Long Term Care Pharmacy Services to assure carefully monitored administration of medications. We will assist in arranging for in-house doctor or psychiatric nurse visits and services such as speech, physical, or occupational therapy.
Snacks and Meals
Three nutritious meals as well as snacks and desserts are provided each  day. Meals are served in our comfortable home-like dining room where relaxed and casual interaction with fellow residents and staff is encouraged. Any needed meal-time assistance is provided and special dietary requirements are accommodated. Guest meals can be provided.
Recreation and Activities
Plenty of opportunities are provided for individual hobbies and pursuits. Our full-time activities director supervises a full calendar of organized group  activities including cards, crafts, movies, bingo, storytelling, exercise, and group entertainment. Religious services (Catholic and Protestant) are officiated by visiting clergy and take place weekly. Our comfortable activity room serves for many of the events that take place and can also be used for private occasions such as birthday parties or other family and friend gatherings.
